In Harrisburg, we show off our creative flair with 3rd in the Burg, a celebration of the city’s quickly growing arts and cultural scene. Each month, dozens of venues host special events—exhibits, music, theater, comedy, lectures—throughout downtown and Midtown.

NONPROFIT DAY AT BROAD STREET MARKET | 1233 N. 3RD ST. | 3-8 P.M.

The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) invites you to Nonprofit Day, where you can meet local nonprofits, explore volunteer opportunities and learn about services that strengthen our community from 3-7 p.m. While there, enjoy music by Bitsy McCann, delicious food and brews at Broad Street Market.

SUSQUEHANNA ART MUSEUM | 1401 N. 3RD ST. | 5-8 P.M.

SAM at the Marty’s staying open late with free admission. Catch The St. Christine’s perform in the green space from 6-8 p.m.  

BLACC FRIDAYS | LA CULTURA, 19 1/2 N. 4TH ST. | 4-6 P.M.

La Cultura’s launched a new mixer series called BLACC Fridays — the entry is $20 for a taste of unreleased products from local business owners to give them feedback. Check it out! 

Art Association of Harrisburg
21 N. Front St. | 5-8 pm

Founded in 1926, the AAH is a hub of Central PA cultural events. Our galleries in historic Governor Findlay Mansion across from Riverfront Park provide opportunities for regional and nationwide artists. We also offer year-round art classes for all ages and skill levels. Website
