In Harrisburg, we show off our creative flair with 3rd in the Burg, a celebration of the city’s quickly growing arts and cultural scene. Each month, dozens of venues host special events—exhibits, music, theater, comedy, lectures—throughout downtown and Midtown.

TEN OH! SIX STUDIO
1006 n. 3rd st. | 5-8 p.m.

Collage artist Julia Mallory's new art and workshop studio is a welcome addition to 3rd Street. This month Mallory's featured artist is Codeture, digital portraits evocative of a pop art style, by Cody Duncan. The art and space is worth your time; come see it from 5-8 p.m. Check 'em out on Instagram here. 

El Sol turns 17!
18 S. 3rd St. | OPEN UNTIL 11 P.M.

In April, El Sol celebrates its 17th year in business! Bar manager Randall Hayes shared that the restaurant will feature free Samples of El Mayor tequila as well as drink specials all month long while supplies last. 

BRUNCH SOMA POP-UP

For April, Sara Bozich & co. at Pop-Up are teaming up with Gals That Brunch (@galsthatbrunchhbg) for a Brunch for Happy Hour event from 5-9 p.m.

Art Association of Harrisburg

Founded in 1926, the AAH is a hub of Central PA cultural events. Our galleries in historic Governor Findlay Mansion across from Riverfront Park provide opportunities for regional and nationwide artists. We also offer year-round art classes for all ages and skill levels. Website

Nyeusi Gallery

Nyeusi features art from Africa, the Caribbean and America, thus the African Diaspora circle. The collection consist of paintings, masks, statues and Jewelry. We are inspired by our ancestors and are here to educate, uplift and empower a new generation. Website
