A Monthly Event!

In Harrisburg, we show off our creative flair with 3rd in the Burg, a celebration of the city’s quickly growing arts and cultural scene. Each month, dozens of venues host special events—exhibits, music, theater, comedy, lectures—throughout downtown and Midtown.

ADULTS NIGHT OUT at whitaker center | 222 Market st. | 5:30-8 p.m.

Explore Under the Canopy, a live animal exhibit, during animal encounters every 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m. This event is 21+ and is $12.

CityLight Gallery | 252 North St. | 5-8 p.m.

CityLight is a new gallery sharing uplifting and inspiring works by artists near and far. Currently featured local artists include Bethany Endicott Gill (watercolors) and Jeff Scorza (sculptures).

Pine Street Presbyterian Church | 310 N. 3rd St. | 6-8:30 p.m.

Enjoy live music from indie songwriter Kara Steindel from 7-8 p.m., and see amazing works by artist Lori Sweet hanging in the vestibule gallery from 6-8:30 p.m.

Art Association of Harrisburg

Founded in 1926, the AAH is a hub of Central PA cultural events. Our galleries in historic Governor Findlay Mansion across from Riverfront Park provide opportunities for regional and nationwide artists. We also offer year-round art classes for all ages and skill levels. Website
 

Millworks

The Millworks is a regional destination in Midtown Harrisburg showcasing Central Pennsylvania’s artistic talents and bountiful agriculture. Vivi on Verbeke

Just one block from the Broad Street Market and the Midtown Scholar, Vivi on Verbeke is a warm, inviting studio gallery to visit this month if you want to take some time out from the crowds. Stop in to see her beautiful handmade artwork! Website
